Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, to help clients achieve stress reduction, emotional balance, and improved mental health.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' specific stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, customizing mindfulness practices to fit their individual needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques, promoting self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes focused on mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and resilience building.

• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions, effectively addressing clients' mental health concerns and enhancing their overall growth.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive treatment plans, integrating mindfulness practices for optimal client outcomes.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions used, and ongoing treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.

• Commit to personal mindfulness practice and engage in ongoing professional development, expanding expertise in MBSR and related therapeutic approaches.

This role primarily focuses on adults experiencing stress, anxiety, and various mental health concerns. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and often seek therapy for challenges related to work-life balance, emotional regulation, and overall stress management. By employing mindfulness-based techniques, you will assist clients in cultivating a greater sense of awareness, self-acceptance, and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness practices into therapeutic interventions and sessions.

• Exceptional communication skills to effectively create a supportive and calming therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
