Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to create personalized treatment plans for each client, addressing specific mental health concerns.

• Deliver evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records that comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in all client interactions.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay current with the latest advancements in mental health practices and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mind Wellness Network Association serves a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families who face a variety of mental health challenges. Many clients come from marginalized communities with limited access to mental health services. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will engage with patients experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance-use disorders, providing culturally-sensitive care tailored to their unique backgrounds and life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey is mandatory, along with active and unrestricted status.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in counseling, particularly within a clinical environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele and their families.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and the ability to utilize technology in case management and therapy delivery.
