Phlebotomy Site CoordinatorLabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday rotational start and end times from 7:00am - 5:00pm with rotational SaturdaysJob Responsibilities:Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisorsManage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logsMonitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessaryAddress any customer service related issues in a prompt and respectful mannerPromote team work, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkersPerform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED or equivalent1 year or more experience as a phlebotomistPreferred Qualifications:2 years or more experience in as a people leader4 years or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab settingPrevious LabCorp experienceAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyIn depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniquesProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionReliable transportation and clean driving record if applicableFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness testValid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportationBe at least 21 years' oldAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. The Phlebotomy Site Coordinator will work closely with the PSC staff, management, as well as the laboratory staff and clients to ensure optimal operation of the Patient Service Center and client lab operations. The position will also perform phlebotomy and specimen processing procedures at LabCorp Patient Service Centers and client offices under minimal supervision.Phlebotomist's may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
