Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and intake interviews to accurately evaluate clients’ mental health statuses.

• Formulate personalized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based strategies and best practices to address each client's unique needs.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, equipping clients with effective coping mechanisms and therapeutic skills.
\n
• Provide continuous support and follow-up, modifying therapy approaches as necessary based on clients' progress and feedback.

• Coordinate referrals to psychiatrists or other healthcare providers when specialized intervention is required.

• Document all interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards, using our EHR system to maintain organized and up-to-date records.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with mental health research and advancements in therapy methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including those experiencing depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Our clientele embodies various cultural backgrounds and life experiences, making cultural competence a critical element in your approach to therapy. The therapist's role is vital in establishing a safe space for clients, building strong therapeutic relationships, and nurturing a supportive environment for healing and development.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of four years of related clinical experience in mental health settings, demonstrating proficiency in individual and group therapy.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, with a commitment to applying evidence-based treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
