Pricing Analyst

The Pricing Analyst will play a key role in supporting the companys pricing, contracting, and commercial operations within the generic pharmaceutical business. This individual will partner closely with the Sales team to manage customer pricing and contracts, analyze pricing structures and sales data, administer rebates, and identify opportunities to improve pricing efficiencies. The role will also help ensure accurate and consistent pricing and contract data across internal systems while supporting relationships with wholesalers, retailers, distributors, and other customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a wide range of agreements, including those with wholesalers, retailers, and distributors.
• Provide day-to-day support to the Sales team on pricing, HDMA sheets, customer portal updates, maintaining a database of customer pricing, analyzing sales reports, assisting with the allocation of constrained-supply products, and participating in operational review meetings.
• Analyze current customer pricing and suggest efficiencies in pricing structures.
• Work closely with the Sales team to implement pricing structure changes.
• Oversee rebate structures, including Medicaid and commercial rebates, and ensure accurate calculations and timely payments.
• Manage data across integrated platforms such as SAP, iContracts, and CRM software.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree, preferably in Business or Finance; MBA preferred.
• 35 years of experience in pharmaceutical contract management, specifically within the generic (Gx) pharmaceutical industry.
• Expertise in generic pharmaceutical product pricing models.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including modeling and pivot tables; experience with iContracts and SAP.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively across various levels of the organization.
• Self-starter with the flexibility to travel occasionally.

Base salary approximately $80,000 per year. This is the anticipated salary for fully qualified candidates. The final salary offered will be dependent on several factors that include and are not limited to relevant previous experience, job responsibilities and duration of experience, the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
