Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students in an engaging educational environment near Madisonville, LA. Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP license or eligibility to obtain appropriate state licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; new Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
  • Previous work in a K-12 school setting is a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and implement effective treatment plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students, both individually and in groups
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress and services
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff team meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to support student success
  • Offer consultation and guidance to educators regarding classroom strategies
