Work Environment

This full-time, onsite position is based in a hospital setting, where the collaborative atmosphere enables our healthcare professionals to work closely with each other to provide the best possible outcomes for our patients. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility necessary to meet patient needs and clinic operations. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising registered Physical Therapist in executing patient treatment plans through hands-on clinical care and treatment modifications as needed.
• Perform routine treatment procedures such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and gait training according to the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist.
• Monitor patient progress by observing and documenting responses to treatments while providing timely feedback to the supervising Physical Therapist regarding any significant changes in patient conditions.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of patient care activities, facilitating effective communication within the healthcare team and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and materials, ensuring that all safety protocols and cleanliness standards are adhered to for optimal patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program is essential.
• Possession of a current and unrestricted California Physical Therapy Assistant license; candidates who are eligible to apply for licensure will also be considered.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a rehabilitation or hospital environment.

Compensation and Benefits
