Based in Mt. Laurel, NJ, we are a well-established multidisciplinary law firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The Mt. Laurel office is expanding and seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join a growing team handling sophisticated workers' compensation matters. This in-person role is ideal for a seasoned paralegal who values independent work team collaboration work-life balance and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare discovery demands and responses in workers' compensation matters with accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate with medical providers to request obtain and track medical records
- Work with experts to schedule independent medical examinations (IMEs) and manage related correspondence
- Support inspections and other expert discovery while collaborating with attorneys to meet case deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma required with a paralegal certificate preferred
- 5+ years of paralegal experience with demonstrated experience summarizing medical records
- Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Excel ProLaw and e-document management software preferred
