Assembler PositionExpress Employment is currently working with a company that has been in business for over 50 years and is constantly focusing on new ideas to help first responders save lives! As an assembler you will need to be very detail oriented as you will play an integral role in constructing pieces for fire hoses.Responsibilities:Visually inspects parts prior to assembly to ensure compliance with quality standardsSets up/prepares jobs for assembly, including checking part availability on computer and obtaining parts from ASRS as neededUses assembly tooling designed for the assigned cells. For example, presses, drill machines, testing fixtures, assembly fixtures etc.Assembles subassemblies and finished goods and uses Loctite, grease, epoxy etc. as specified per assigned work instructionsThoroughly cleans and prepares product surface for labeling using acetone. Makes sure proper labeling is applied per bill of materialsWet tests finished products to ensure proper operation and absence of leakage per testing instructions. Tags product and records testing resultsPerforms related duties as assignedSchedule and Pay:Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:00pm $17.00/hrMon-Fri 2:00pm-10:00pm $19.00/hrMon-Fri 11:00pm-7:00am $19.00/hrQualifications:Working knowledge of and ability to make practical application of OSHA and company safety precautions and proceduresAbility to work alone and with others in a team environment with minimum supervision, work rapidly for long periods and work on several tasks at the same time, often under time pressureAbility to effectively communicate orally and in writing with other company personnelAbility to occasionally work extended hoursRequirements:Drug testBackground check100% smoke free facilityComposite or safety toe shoes/bootsBenefits Available to Eligible Express Associates:Medical/Dental/Vision PlanLife InsuranceShort-Term Disability401(k) Retirement Savings PlanDirect DepositHoliday PayHow to Apply:Fill out our Interview Form which is available 24/7, at your convenience.
