Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Holyoke, MA

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting high school students as a speech-language pathologist in a dynamic educational environment. This immediate need places you at the heart of a supportive school community, working closely with a diverse student body and collaborating with professional colleagues to help students find their voice and succeed.


You'll be based in a high school setting, working weekday hours from 7:41 AM to 2:15 PM, supporting a caseload of approximately 75 students. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in ensuring that each student receives the personalized attention and services they deserve.


Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state license (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
• Background in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare-related speech therapy
• Experience with evaluations, direct therapy, and IEP participation
• Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive high school speech/language evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results
• Provide direct and consultative services to students, collaborating with staff and families
• Oversee and mentor a Speech Assistant to ensure best-practices in service delivery
• Maintain accurate records and support compliance with all district and state guidelines
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise to IEP development
