LHH recruitment solutions is hiring for an accountant in the West Palm Beach, FL area. Our client is searching for an accountant with a strong background in full cycle (e.g. GL accounting, AP, treasury, payroll, etc.) environment that continues to grow each year through acquisition. This position is working fully in office. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with AP review and processing
• Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly state and local tax reviews
• Prepare and maintain General Account bank reconciliations
• Assist in preparation of audit schedules
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and transfers between accounts
• Post manual journal entries
• Prepare and post monthly accruals
• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts monthly
• Assist with monthly closing process (G/L, A/P, and A/R) and run required reports
• Prepare and analyze individual monthly unit financials
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial reports
• Support the development of annual budgets
• Assist with year-end audit deliverables

You are a great fit if:

· Bachelor degree or higher in Accounting required

· 5 plus years of general accounting experience

· Great plains experience preferred
