Logistics Coordinator

Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Location: Lewisville, TX Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $18-$20 per hour Work Model: Onsite Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm, on occasion 7:00am – 3:30pm (Works occasional Saturday, especially at end of month); 43 hours avg per week. Responsibilities Provide administrative support for the shipping and receiving functions of the Lewisville Warehouse, including preparing and maintaining records and reports. Enter data into SAP and locator systems to support timely shipping and receiving operations. Support daily shipping and receiving schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and coordinating with internal and external customers. Create shipping documents and support outbound shipments by generating and preparing necessary documentation. Coordinate with planners to track shortages and assist with inventory control activities. Support SAP-related activities such as printing labels, researching discrepancies, and resolving errors. Track and report damages, assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment aligned with company policies, and support shop safety programs. Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor, including maintaining warehouse records and supporting leadership initiatives. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. 2-3 years' experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment. Experience with enterprise resource planning software (SAP preferred) and warehouse equipment. Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English and have good math skills, including working with fractions, decimals, and percentages. Ability to develop process expertise for troubleshooting and operational efficiency. Excellent attendance record and flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed. Self‑motivated with ability to establish effective working relationships. Ability to operate forklifts and related equipment as trained. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting up to 100 pounds, climb, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive physical activities including pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking. Willingness to wear a respirator if required.
