Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, duration, and severity of mood disorders.

• Developing personalized treatment plans, collaborating closely with clients to align their goals with effective therapeutic strategies.

• Implementing evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored for mood disorders.

• Providing educational resources and support to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mood disorders and treatment modalities.

• Monitoring client progress, maintaining ongoing communication to adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care and address any co-occurring medical issues.

• Maintaining detailed and confidential records of therapy sessions, assessments, and care plans per legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will be working with a diverse clientele, providing culturally competent care tailored to each patient's unique background and experiences.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Demonstrable expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities focused on mood disorders.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to coordinate effectively with psychiatrists and medical staff.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from a variety of backgrounds.
