Our family includes three children—ages 11, 9, and 4—who will each be attending different schools and participating in a variety of activities.Both parents work full-time in demanding, often unpredictable roles, which means schedules can shift and require flexibility. Mom will be working largely from home office during the first year in St. Louis, but with occasional travel back to Boston for work. With no established local support network in St. Louis, we're looking for a trusted partner to help manage the day-to-day logistics of family life.Our home is warm and structured, and we value routine, communication, and mutual respect. Keeping the kitchen stocked with the staples, a list provided at the beginning of employment and kept fairly constant.Household management & flow: overseeing laundry, organization, errands, family calendars, vendor coordination, recurring vehicle/home maintenance, and the behind-the-scenes systems that keep the household functioning smoothly.What a Typical Day & Success in This Role Might Look LikeYour day may begin with focused household support—laundry, errands, meal prep, and general organization—so the home is set up before the kids return. From there, you'll transition into after-school responsibilities, including coordinating pickups, managing activity transportation, and helping the kids settle in, start homework, and move into the evening routine. With three kids at three different schools, the hours of 5:00–8:00 PM will often involve close collaboration with at least mom. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys partnering in real time, dividing and conquering across homework, activities, dinner, and bedtime logistics to help weeknights run smoothly.
