Production Associate II * 2nd shift

Pay rate: $17/hr with a $1.00 shift differential Responsibilities Operate hand tools as required and assemble, lift, pick and pack products Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities Follow defined clean‑up times Work in a safe manner and follow safe work practices and policies Must follow and work to an established rate as defined by customer demand and standardized operations Participate in defining and improving standard work to improve quality windows for customers Identify problems; communicate issues Assist with training co‑workers Support a respectful workplace Perform other duties across the plant as needed, as directed by supervision or management Qualifications Ability to read at least minimum word and number recognition/visual cues Operate power tools with dexterity, basic operations, and know when to change PPE Identify hazards while understanding station knowledge of safety hazards/protocols/PPE Knowledge of measurement standards and tolerances Follow instruction and standard work while frequently referencing standard work instructions Knowledge of product defects specific to the workstation Quality recognition in station quality requirements/CTQ Communicate effectively by actively listening, explaining clearly & accurately, asking questions, and sharing important information Time management and awareness of cycle times Ability to perform math by adding numbers, subtracting, including fractions and decimals Interface with a computer system by accessing, navigating, and identifying downloads Stand for 8 to 10 hours using good posture and repetitive motion Problem solving using root cause analysis Dependability and punctuality Profile recognition ability to recognize shapes and compare to sample drawings Monitor inventory by adhering to min‑max levels (WIP) and utilization of scrap Record keeping that is accurate, timely, and legible Ability to train operators Ability to oversee multiple workstations Ability to interpret and understand schedule adherence Manage line flow Ability to lead Ability to wear required PPE – metatarsal shoes, arm guards, ear protection, and safety glasses High school diploma is preferred Ability to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach, and stand Ability to consistently lift at least 50 pounds, 8 to 12 hours a day Ability to work in hot and cold environments Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on business needs Willing and able to work various positions in various departments (cross‑trained) Perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and stand for long periods Ability to comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations Ability to follow supervisors’ instructions and directions as given Possess problem solving, teamwork, communication, and initiative skills Preferred knowledge of WTS Paradigm and various ERP functionalities Benefits Healthcare benefits starting on your first day of work Competitive pay Inclusive, collaborative environment Bragging rights – you’ll work for the market leader in multiple product categories Professional development opportunities Tuition reimbursement Generous PTO Employee discount programs Site Address: 300 Welcome Center Blvd, Lexington, NC 27295 Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
