Job Title: Quality Manager 4
Location: Milpitas, CA - Onsite
Work Arrangement: Contract
Experience: 5-7+ Years
Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Quality Manager with strong expertise in Quality Systems, PCB/PCBA Assembly, Electromechanical Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, and Customer/Regulatory Audits. The ideal candidate will lead quality initiatives, manage quality systems, resolve customer issues, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality assurance programs.
- Manage customer audits, regulatory audits, and compliance activities.
- Interface with customers on technical quality issues and improvement initiatives.
- Lead quality improvement, problem-solving, and corrective action activities.
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Review manufacturing and product quality issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Support quality planning for new product development and manufacturing processes.
- Manage supplier/vendor quality and evaluate supplier quality performance.
- Develop quality metrics, reports, procedures, and improvement plans.
- Lead management reviews and quality-related meetings.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of Quality Systems experience
- Previous Quality Manager / Quality Management experience
- 5+ years of Electromechanical Integration / PCB or PCBA Assembly
- 3+ years of Lean Manufacturing
- Quality Assurance & Quality Management Systems
- Customer & Regulatory Audits
- Manufacturing / Production Quality
- Customer-facing technical quality experience
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional leadership skills
