What You'll Do

As our Assistant Cafe Manager, you’ll play a key role in the daily operations of our cafe. Your mission? To support the Cafe Manager in creating a welcoming atmosphere, maintaining smooth operations, and ensuring top-notch customer service. Here's what your day-to-day might look like:
- Team Leadership : Assist in managing and motivating our team to deliver exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Customer Experience : Ensure every guest feels valued by overseeing service quality and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
- Operations Management : Help with scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring the cafe runs efficiently.
- Quality Assurance : Maintain high standards for food, drink, and cleanliness to reflect the State + Jones reputation.
- Problem-Solving : Step in to handle challenges with grace and professionalism.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking someone with a passion for hospitality and a knack for leadership. To thrive in this role, you should have:
- 1 year of experience in a similar role or in the food and beverage industry.

- Servsafe Food Service Manager Certification
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- A customer-first mindset with excellent communication abilities.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
- A love for coffee, tea, and great food is a bonus!
