Inventory Planning Analyst

Pay Rate: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour (Depending on experience) Job Type: Full-time, Contract salary: $23 - $30 per hour shift: First work hours: 9 AM - 5:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities Process and evaluate inventory request lines daily, ensuring rapid, efficient resolution through reservation, production routing, or consultation. Review, track, and validate inventory reservations for both production and warehouse inventory, using analytical thinking to monitor the allocation process. Balance customer allocations against the demand plan and reconcile production dates against demand requirements. Evaluate line items for Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) compliance, collaborating with sales and demand planning to aggregate orders when needed. Coordinate directly with procurement and supporting departments to initiate purchase orders and ensure the on-time delivery of purchase requests. Communicate proactively with original requesters to propose alternative solutions or adjustments when inventory is unavailable or criteria are unmet. Create comprehensive reports identifying aged inventory for leadership and sales review. Attend weekly cross-functional meetings with Sales, Procurement, and Planning teams. Navigate multiple systems, using the Archiva request platform to process incoming needs and the internal ERP to execute inventory reservations. Participate in special projects related to inventory management and perform other duties as assigned.
