Senior Accounting Manager

Local, stable and growing construction-related firm in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking to add a ACCOUNTING MANAGER to their team. This is 100% onsite in Walnut Creek. Base pay range $135,000 - $140,000 per year plus bonuses and excellent benefits. Growth opportunities available. Base pay range $135,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Overview Position: Accounting Manager . Location: Walnut Creek, CA. Employment type: Full-time. Onsite role. Responsibilities Lead and manage accounting functions including General Ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements. Oversee full-cycle GAAP accounting and ensure accurate and timely close processes. Supervise staff with prior supervisory experience required. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and reporting needs. Qualifications Degree in Accounting/Finance or similar with 10+ years of experience. Minimum 3+ years in Accounting Manager, Supervisor, or Controller roles. Prior supervisory experience required. Advanced Excel skills; Deltek experience is helpful. Onsite presence in Walnut Creek (no remote work).
