Providence Mental Therapy Session Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. This position offers the flexibility and convenience of a remote work environment while still providing essential, in-person support to clients in their homes or at our outpatient clinic. Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, enabling you to manage your schedule while interacting directly with clients. You will have the opportunity to provide therapy from the comfort of your space or visit clients in their homes as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions, both remotely and in client homes, ensuring a comfortable and safe atmosphere for therapy.

• Utilize evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral techniques, to address anger management, coping strategies, and social skills development.
\n
• Focus on reducing high-risk behaviors, such as self-injury and physical aggression, through tailored treatment plans and interventions.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with the Child Family Treatment Team, participating in case consultations and sharing insights from your therapy experience.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including intake records, treatment plans, and progress notes, to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
\n
• Attend monthly team meetings and contribute valuable recommendations to enhance our therapy practices and client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client focus for this role includes children and adolescents between the ages of 3 to 20, particularly those with developmental and intellectual disabilities. As a therapist, you will advocate for and empower these young individuals, providing them with personalized strategies to navigate their challenges. Your work will ensure that families have the resources and support needed to manage behavioral difficulties at home, ultimately contributing to their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory for consideration.
\n
• Availability for at least 5-10 hours per week, specifically during after-school hours from 4-7 pm, with added flexibility for weekends appreciated.

Preferred Experience\n

• A background in providing positive behavior support strategies is essential.

• Prior experience working directly with children aged 3-20 and those with intellectual/developmental disabilities is highly beneficial.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for in-home visits are required.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, will be part of the hiring process.

Compensation and Benefits\n
