Quick Facts: Location: Georgetown, DE (21655 Biden Avenue) Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date/Duration: As per agreement Shift: Days (Monday-Friday); no call, no weekends, with one weekend/month Hours/Week: Full-time Employment Type: Permanent License/Certs: Medical license in Delaware; Board Certified in Psychiatry preferred Experience: Minimum 2 years of inpatient psychiatric experience Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (pay package discussed upon application) Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical insurance (W-2) Paid time off 401(k) plan CME stipend Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support throughout your employment What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient psychiatric care for an average of 18 patients daily in a 99-bed unit Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for diverse psychiatric conditions including anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, trauma, and substance use disorders Manage involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy treatments Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of APPs and psychologists Document care using Wellsky EMR system Offer compassionate, patient-centered medication management and therapy Participate in a supportive team environment focused on quality care and compliance What You Need: Medical license in Delaware Proven experience in inpatient psychiatric settings Familiarity with involuntary commitments and psychiatric pharmacotherapy Strong communication and teamwork skills Interest in long-term, stable employment (not Locums) About the Assignment: Join a well-established inpatient psychiatric unit supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions.
