What You'll Do As a Machinist / Fabricator, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality components and assemblies used in our technical training equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform manual machining operations including drilling, shearing, deburring, cutting, and bench work. Assemble products according to specifications and work instructions. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation. Measure, mark, cut, and prepare materials for fabrication. Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met. Identify, troubleshoot, and correct manufacturing defects. Fabricate jigs, fixtures, and production aids as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals. Welding & Fabrication Experience (Preferred) Perform fit-up and tack welding operations. Bevel and prepare materials for welding. Clean, grind, and finish weldments before and after welding. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of machining experience. Experience with milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, and bench operations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of welding and fabrication experience. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with fabrication fixtures and tooling. Benefits & Perks Paid Time Off.
