Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited OT program (master's or doctorate), ACOTE-approved
- Completed fieldwork/clinical training required by your OT program
- Successfully passed the NBCOT national certification exam with verification sent to Illinois
- Active OT state license (Illinois)
- Experience in school environments preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs highly valued
- Commitment to ongoing professional education and licensure upkeep
- Deliver OT services for Pre-K to adult transitioning populations (18 hours/week)
- Provide 16 hours on-site at schools; devote 2 hours weekly to services at a local home
- Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records
- Foster meaningful, goal-oriented interventions aligned with each client's unique needs
