Official Title: Senior Business Development Manager (Path to Branch Management)

Reports To: VP of Operations

Location: Remote (based in your region)

About the Role

Circle Logistics is expanding, and we’re seeking experienced Cradle-to-Gate representatives who are ready to build a book of business and grow into Branch leadership.

This is a full-cycle business development role — you will cold call, sell our services, onboard the accounts you close, and manage/cover your own freight with carriers. You own the customer relationship end-to-end while benefiting from strong operational and administrative support.

You’ll have autonomy, real earning potential, and a clear path to Branch Management for leaders who can grow, retain, and scale a profitable book.

What You’ll Do

\n
• Cold call and proactively prospect shippers to expand market presence and generate new business
\n
• Sell Circle’s transportation solutions and convert leads into long-term accounts
\n
• Fully manage and grow the accounts you bring on — relationship, service, retention, solutions
\n
• Cover your own freight: develop carrier partnerships, negotiate rates, ensure profitability
\n
• Monitor service performance, address escalations, and ensure on-time pickup and delivery
\n
• Work directly with leadership on pricing and account strategy
\n
• Maintain service KPIs and uphold Circle’s communication and performance standards
\n
• Leverage provided technology for prospecting and pipeline development, including SalesIntel, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot
\n

What We’re Looking For

\n
• 3–5 years in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation sales
\n
• Comfort and confidence with cold calling, outbound sales, and building a book from scratch
\n
• Proven success managing both shipper accounts and carrier relationships
\n
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-through skills
\n
• Proficient in Google Workspace & Microsoft Office
\n
• Familiarity with CRMs ie: HubSpot, SalesIntel, and ZoomInfo (all provided)
\n
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment
\n
• Leadership-minded with ambition to move into Branch Management
\n
