Description - What You Will Do

• Conduct an array of clinical laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-while adhering to established procedures.
• Ensure the reliability of results by analyzing data, diagnosing errors, and performing routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for evaluation when required.
• Maintain meticulous records of all processes, assist in training new team members or students, and contribute to upholding high lab standards.
• Establish and preserve a clean, safe work environment in compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health qualification, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year from the date of hire.
• Remaining current with certification throughout employment.
