Locum Tenens Cardiology Physician Opportunity

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Clinic Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM with hospital rotation every 5-6 weeks. Each cardiologist has one weekly clinic reading day.
• Job Setting: Outpatient clinic 5 days a week and inpatient hospital care during service weeks
• Types of Cases: Non-invasive cardiology. Panel of patients to follow. Hospital responsibilities include inpatient care and rounding, consultations, multidisciplinary rounds, communication with referring providers, and reading all hospital diagnostic studies during service week. Clinic responsibilities include on-site visits, reviewing diagnostic studies, follow-up communication with patients, and care coordination with imaging/testing teams.
• Credentialing: 120 days

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
• Certifications: ACLS required. Fellowship required (3 years).
• Licensure: Active supervising license required. Provider must be added as a locum tenens supervising physician for Physician Assistants. IMLC not accepted.
