1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Direct message the job poster from The Sustainable Partnership Our client is a renewable energy IPP seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting, general ledger management, and compliance activities. You will directly oversee a small team, ensuring accurate month-end close processes. and driving improvements in accounting operations and controls. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily accounting operations, reviewing work prepared by staff and ensuring adherence to internal controls and GAAP. Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis. Prepare and review internal financial reports and support external audit requirements, including SOX compliance activities. Review and approve accounts payable transactions to ensure accurate general ledger classification. Maintain and update chart of accounts and recommend improvements to expense coding and reporting structures. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial compliance related to project and operational accounting. Support external auditors with audit schedules, reconciliations, and documentation requests. Evaluate business processes for efficiencies and assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. Qualifications: 2+ years in a managerial role required Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and corporate accounting standards. Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure industries is a plus.
