As a Mortgage Loan Processor , you’ll play a critical role in turning loan applications into successful closings. You’ll work closely with Loan Originators, Underwriters, and borrowers to make sure every loan file is complete, compliant, and ready to cross the finish line. What You’ll Do Every day brings something new, but here’s how you’ll make an impact: Review incoming loan documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance Verify borrower information, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate directly with borrowers and Loan Originators Order credit reports, appraisals, flood certifications, title work, insurance, and other required documentation Prepare and submit clean, organized loan files to Underwriting for approval Update loan systems based on underwriting decisions and loan status changes Communicate with customers regarding loan status, next steps, and timelines Track and follow up on outstanding conditions and documentation Perform thorough document audits prior to funding Resolve exceptions and conditions to keep loans moving forward Stay up to date on FHA, VA, and conventional loan guidelines and changes Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and company policies Support the team with additional duties as needed What You Bring to the Table Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of loan processing experience preferred Mortgage industry experience is a plus (but we’re open to strong candidates!)
