Senior Staff Accountant - CPA Firm

Agrowing CPA firm is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant who will manage accounting, tax, and advisory responsibilities for assigned clients. Responsibilities Maintain general ledger accuracy for multiple client entities Execute month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules on a monthly basis Assist with individual and business tax return preparation Support tax planning initiatives and respond to tax-related inquiries Manage cash activity, bill payments, and account monitoring Review financial results, identify variances, and flag issues or trends Provide financial information and analysis as needed Contribute to internal process improvements and accounting system enhancements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA, or actively pursuing CPA licensure Minimum of 3 years of accounting experiencePublic accounting experience a plus Prior experience preparing tax returns Strong understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP principles Proficiency with QuickBooks Salary: $80,000–$95,000 + bonus Additional Role Details Hybrid work environment (2–3 days from home) Client referral incentive (percentage of revenue generated) Excellent benefits (health insurance, dental, vision, 401k with employer match, life insurance, long-term disability) #J-18808-Ljbffr
