Senior Corporate Accountant

Sayva Solutions is partnering with a large, publicly traded organization to hire a Senior Corporate Accountant. This individual will play a key role within a high-volume corporate accounting function, owning critical balance sheet areas, supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on corporate accountant who can independently manage journal entries, reconciliations, and close deliverables while applying strong GAAP knowledge and a process-improvement mindset. Salary: $103,000 – $115,000. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Own assigned balance sheet accounts and related accounting processes
• Perform full-cycle general ledger accounting, including preparation and posting of journal entries
• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities in a deadline-driven environment
• Apply GAAP knowledge and perform accounting research to support accounting conclusions
• Support compliance, reporting, and audit-related activities across the accounting function
• Prepare supporting schedules, documentation, and responses for internal and external information requests
• Perform financial analyses and calculations to support accounting conclusions and reporting requirements
• Assist with audit inquiries by providing requested documentation and responding to follow-up questions
• Identify process inefficiencies, compliance risks, and opportunities to strengthen controls and procedures
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, HR, and other business partners to support accounting operations, reporting requirements, and process improvements

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience, preferably within a publicly traded company environment
• Strong, hands-on GAAP foundation with experience in general ledger accounting responsibilities
• Experience working in large organizations and ERP environments with tight reporting deadlines
• Comfortable in a high-volume environment with complex reconciliations and strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage time effectively
• Process-improvement mindset with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through
• CPA or CPA-track preferred
