Senior Technical Revenue Accountant

We are partnering with a global technology organization seeking a Senior Technical Revenue Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This position will play a key role in supporting complex revenue recognition matters and advising the business on proper accounting treatment under ASC 606. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical accounting foundation, public accounting experience, and the ability to interpret complex customer arrangements in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Salary Range: $105,000 $123,000 Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter resource for revenue recognition matters in accordance with ASC 606
• Review and evaluate complex customer contracts to determine appropriate accounting treatment and revenue recognition conclusions
• Partner cross-functionally to assess accounting implications tied to customer arrangements
• Analyze operational delivery structures and identify impacts related to products, services, and contractual obligations
• Prepare and review technical accounting documentation and revenue recognition analyses under U.S. GAAP
• Support quarter-end close activities and related reporting requirements
• Perform technical accounting research related to revenue recognition and complex transactions
• Assist with process improvement initiatives focused on strengthening controls, efficiencies, and operational effectiveness
• Serve as a key accounting partner to domestic and international business teams over time
• Collaborate with leadership on technical accounting matters, risk assessment, and implementation of accounting guidance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
• 24+ years of accounting experience with prior public accounting experience from a national or regional firm required
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance
• Experience interpreting contracts and applying technical accounting guidance preferred
• Exposure to technical accounting research, revenue memorandums, or public company audit engagements highly desirable
• CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA preferred
• Experience working with large ERP systems
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment focused on quality and continuous improvement
