Senior Accountant

This is an on-site role in Solana Beach, California. Key Responsibilities Support various aspects of the accounting and reporting process, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, inventory, stock-based compensation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, internal and external reporting Prepare monthly/quarterly journal entries and account reconciliations Identify areas of improvement to assist with accelerating close timing and enhancing controls Assist with the quarterly reviews and year-end audit by external auditors Lead ad hoc projects as determined by management Basic Qualifications 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, CPA firm experience preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, and strong knowledge of US GAAP Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to deal with complex problems and present recommendations and findings in a clear and concise manner Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Highly motivated and willing to take on multiple responsibilities at once. Proven ability to work comfortably under pressure and tight deadlines Strong sense of ownership Team player Proficient in Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications Operational accounting experience for three or more years Working knowledge of SOX internal control framework, including concepts of control design and effectiveness Familiarity with GAAP research tools and the FASB codification Experience working with a fast-paced start-up or complex company Experience with researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions Experience with cost accounting and/or manufacturing environments #J-18808-Ljbffr ClearPoint Neuro, Inc.
