Cleanroom Assembler

Duties & Responsibilities

Assemble, fabricate, and clean parts into subassemblies and complete units
Test, calibrate, inspect, and certify parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
Read and interpret blueprint requirements, including:
- Epicor receiving and rejecting parts
- Final inspection, exception identification, and document filing
- Epicor verification, buy-off, and hard card stamping
- In-process inspection and verification that all test certifications are included in the hard card
- Measuring sealing surfaces and O-ring depth

Required Skills & Abilities

Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to use hand tools, torque wrenches, and small power tools
Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers
Knowledge and proper use of calipers, torque wrenches, helicoil, keensert, and Lee plug installation tools
Knowledge of testing and integration
Ability to read wiring schematics
Ability to follow blueprints and written instructions
Ability to train and certify other assemblers
Ability to maintain quality standards

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 5-7 years of manufacturing assembly experience preferred (at least 1 year preferred as a baseline)

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Ability to stand for extended periods

Special Requirements

Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Ability to wear cleanroom attire for cleanroom assembly
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods
