Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent preferred Must have a valid driver's license, Class A or B commercial driver's license preferred 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate (Heavy equipment diesel engines and transmissions) Must have good organizational skills, be able to meet strict deadlines, and document issues and procedures. Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted. Responsibilities Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment failures. Provide repair and maintenance to diesel and gasoline engines. Maintain an effective system of communication with supervisors and customers. Maintain a safe and clean work area. Assist other mechanics as needed.
