Are you a proactive, relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys getting in front of customers, uncovering opportunities, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships? Jendco Safety Supply is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth by actively managing the full sales cycle through in-person meetings, phone outreach, and email communication.

This role is focused on expanding market share, developing new business, and strengthening existing customer relationships. The Outside Sales Representative will prospect for new opportunities, manage and grow existing accounts, prepare quotes and orders, demonstrate products and services, and partner across the organization to deliver a seamless customer experience.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, competitive, organized, and comfortable owning their results. They use a consultative approach, communicate confidently with a wide range of customers, manage their time effectively, and consistently balance new business development with strong service to existing accounts.

Revenue Growth: Execute a proactive sales strategy focused on growing revenue, expanding market share, and maintaining competitive margins.

Consultative Selling: Identify customer needs, recommend appropriate products and solutions, and uncover opportunities to add value.

Customer Meetings: Schedule and lead in-person meetings to strengthen partnerships, develop opportunities, and expand customer accounts.

Product & Service Presentations: Present and demonstrate Jendco products and services effectively based on customer needs.

Customer Communication: Maintain proactive, professional communication through phone, email, and in-person interactions.

Account Growth: Grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, product education, and promotion of relevant marketing initiatives.

New Business Development: Prospect, cold call, and develop new customer relationships to build a consistent pipeline of opportunities.

Sales Performance: Consistently work toward individual and team sales goals while maintaining accountability for activity and results.

Quotes & Orders: Prepare accurate quotes, enter orders, and maintain complete and current customer information within the CRM system.

Market Awareness: Maintain a strong understanding of Jendco's market position, customer needs, and competitive landscape to effectively compete for and win business.

Order Follow-Up: Manage and track customer orders, including backorders, order status updates, and follow-up through completion.

Issue Resolution: Respond to customer concerns quickly and work with the appropriate internal teams to resolve issues and maintain long-term relationships.

Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate across departments to support customer needs, team goals, and a seamless customer experience.

Brand Representation: Represent Jendco professionally in every customer interaction while reinforcing company values and brand reputation.

Other Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and company needs.

Team-Focused: You maintain a positive, professional attitude and collaborate effectively with people across departments.

Technology Capable: You are proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace and comfortable learning and using CRM and business systems. NetSuite experience is preferred.

Experienced: You have at least 2 years of outside B2B sales experience. Industrial sales experience and experience working within a small to mid-size business environment are preferred.

Qualified: You have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. An associate's degree or higher in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
