Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location while effectively collaborating with a team of professionals dedicated to mental health care. Our telehealth platform facilitates seamless communication with clients, providing the tools necessary to conduct assessments, deliver therapy, and engage with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring comprehensive client care. You will enjoy the flexibility of working Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, understanding their severity, frequency, and impact on daily functioning.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with their specific mental health goals and preferences.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective mental health interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, promoting understanding and empowerment.

• Monitor client progress consistently throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to plans to maximize therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care solutions for clients.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and trends in mood disorder treatment to optimize the effectiveness of therapy sessions and interventions.

• Document client interactions comprehensively and maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards of care.

• Participate in professional development activities and team meetings to continually enhance clinical skills and contribute to best practices in patient care.

• Advocate for clients’ needs and work towards reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and various anxiety disorders. You will work with a wide range of individuals, each with unique backgrounds and experiences, fostering a safe space for healing and growth. Understanding the diverse needs of this population is critical as you develop treatment plans that respect cultural factors and individual patient histories.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in the assessment and treatment of mood disorders is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
