Assembly/Machine OperatorLooking for an entry level opportunity to gain skills and develop a career in manufacturing? Nesco Resource is seeking candidates for an Assembly/Machine Operator role in Danbury, CT. This is an entry level, temp to hire position with opportunities for promotion. Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pay rate: $18.50/hour Duties & Responsibilities:General assembly of medical supplies in a clean room environment.Operator is responsible for following procedures for product assembly/fabrication based on customer specifications.Quality control and visual inspection of products.Operate multiple machines, such as attaching, winding, sealer, material cutters and machine-winding racks.Perform various assembling methods of very small objects with bonding or adhesives.Achieve and maintain daily production levels while producing a quality product.Work in a team environment, helping support departmental goals from production and quality.Complete all other duties as assigned.Required Skills:Ability to follow direction, both spoken and written.Must be able to handle small objects.Must have good vision for assembly and product inspection.Excellent manual dexterity.Must be able to work within a cleanroom environment (no nail polish, acrylics, jewelry or make-up).Must be comfortable with sitting for most of the day as well as repetitive motion.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
