This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff while providing administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.Essential Functions and SkillsFront Desk: Greet and assist visitors, manage check-ins, and maintain a professional reception area.Answer phone calls: Answer calls promptly, professionally and forwarding calls to the correct person or extensionManaging mail and packages: Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packagesMaintaining office supplies: Ordering supplies and working with maintenance.Maintaining records: Keeping office records up to datePerforming clerical tasks: Provides clerical or administrative assistance on special projects, as neededProviding customer service: Answering inquiries, giving instructions, solving problems, and providing advice and guidance.Time management: Prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and ensuring the reception area runs smoothlyOffice Coordination: Maintain office & kitchen supplies; coordinate service requests and ensure office equipment is operational. General housekeeping of main entrance area & break room. Assist with making coffee throughout the morning and restocking beverages; load/unload dishwasher. Order food for meetings and/or events.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequirements/Qualifications3+ years of experience as a receptionist.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Professional demeanor and positive attitude.Detail oriented.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.Ability to pass DHS background study.Physical Requirements The physical requirements described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential responsibilities of this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: geographic location, relevant education, applicable certifications, depth of experience, and special skillsets.
