About the Role
The Company is in need of an Interim VP Finance to bring a high level of organization, strategic insight, and financial rigor to its operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and overhauling financial reporting, processes, and systems across the multi-entity group. This includes building and maintaining accurate 5-year financial forecasts and cash flow models to support investor conversations and operational decision-making. The role also involves partnering with in-house staff to improve month-end close and professionalize accounting practices, as well as supporting the evolution of billing and risk models in line with the company's business shifts. Applicants for the Interim VP Finance position at the company must possess strong controller-level financial expertise, with the ability to work in detail while maintaining a strategic perspective. Experience in building 5-year forecasting models and reliable cash flow modeling tools is essential. The role requires a hands-on finance leader who is comfortable working across multiple related entities with a degree of structural and operational complexity. A background in the construction industry is a must, and exposure to QuickBooks and a CPA with a public accounting background are considered advantageous. The ideal candidate will be available for a minimum 6-month engagement, committing 40 hours per week to the role.
