Growing company in the Duluth area has a need for an Engineering Manager. It is a direct hire role with a full benefits package,
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing capital projects
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's livense with demonstrated safe driving record

- We are seeking a strategic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for the execution of large-scale capital projects and support of mill maintenance activities
- This role oversees a team of Mechanical and Electrical Project Engineers, as well as a Superintendent of Process Control and Automation, with additional reports across engineering and maintenance functions
- Lead and manage a team of 9 direct reports, including project engineers and technical specialists
- Oversee planning, budgeting, and execution of large capital projects from concept through commissioning
- Provide strategic direction and technical oversight to ensure projects meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and corporate teams to align engineering initiatives with business goals
- Support mill maintenance activities by providing engineering expertise and resources as needed
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development within the engineering team
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
