Broker Account Executive (Central California -Fresno, Madera, Kings, Tulare)

Job Overview Broker Distribution Channel – Sales (Full‑time, Central California: Fresno, Madera, Kings, Tulare). Responsibilities Oversee, train and service the broker distribution channel in the assigned market to position the health plan for sales achievement. Manage a network of general agencies, independent brokers, and ancillary stakeholders. Ensure compliance with federal, state and CMS regulations governing the representation and sale of Medicare Advantage Plans. Achieve broker sales targets and report on new business opportunities and field issues. Maintain relationships with brokers and agencies, providing outstanding service and resolving member inquiries and eligibility issues. Expand the broker sales distribution channel by identifying, training and certifying new agencies and brokers. Coordinate and present broker education curriculum, including the SCAN Broker Certification training. Monitor broker quality and resolve issues to ensure high‑quality representation of SCAN. Ensure brokers use current marketing materials and administer broker supply/material requests. Assist with enrollments by verifying and processing broker requests. Provide reporting on network, claims, customer service, marketing and related field issues. Work closely with marketing staff to implement broker cooperative marketing campaigns. Support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. California Life and Health Insurance brokerage license in good standing. 5+ years of Medicare Advantage sales experience. Strong presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills; able to multitask and maintain confidentiality. Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills. Bilingual preferred. Extensive driving required (≥50% of time) within Northern California; must have a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation. Benefits Base salary range: $70,000–$100,000 annually; commission eligible. Mostly remote/field work mode. Robust wellness program.
