We also fuel your ambition with tuition reimbursement, support for professional certifications, and a wellness reimbursement program.If you’re ready to make an impact with a stable industry leader, we want to hear from you.Your Next Career Opportunity – Senior Paralegal, Mergers & Acquisitions (Real Estate)Responsible for the coordination of real estate transactions, due diligence, closing and post-closing activities related to M&A transactions.What You Will Do – Primary ResponsibilitiesPrepare (or assist in the preparation of) real estate transactions related to M&A contracts, title clearing instruments and closing documents, such as M&A contracts or transfer documents.Review and analyze ground and tenant leases and contracts in connection with estoppel preparation in order to identify possible issues within the specific terms.Review, analyze and organize due diligence.Maintain the deal tracker with up to date statuses.Correspond with third party vendors to obtain additional information.Follow up with various sellers, ground lessors, tenants, vendors, customers and outside counsel on a variety of legal matters.Coordinate dissemination of documents to various departments within SBA.Preparation of letters, memos, and reports.Maintain transaction files by ensuring items are filed correctly in the online data folders and ensure files are complete.Frequently communicate and collaborate with Senior Management, as needed, in order to accomplish tasks.Other projects and duties as assigned.What You’ll Need – Qualifications & RequirementsLanguage requirements: English (required), Spanish (preferred)Associate's Degree Bachelor's degree preferred;and 5-10 years of real estate paralegal experience.Previous experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) preferred.Previous telecommunications and supervisory experience is a plus.Certified Paralegal (or equivalent) required.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
