Office Manager / Accounting Administrator

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Office Manager / Accounting Administrator to join a small, family-owned business in Pearland. This is a hands-on position for someone who is organized, dependable, personable, and comfortable wearing many hats. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and bookkeeping experience, including 10+ years of AP/AR and QuickBooks Online experience, while also being comfortable helping with office operations, rental properties, customer service, marketing, and multiple small business operations. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities
• Work extensively in QuickBooks Online
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process bills and payments
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Maintain accurate accounting records and spreadsheets
• Track income and expenses across multiple businesses and entities
• Assist with accounting and recordkeeping for rental properties
• Maintain organized financial files and documentation
• Assist with financial reporting and work with outside accounting resources as needed

Office Management & Operations

• Provide general office management and administrative support
• Assist ownership with various business needs
• Maintain files, records, and business documents
• Assist with rental property administration
• Support boat/RV storage and RV park operations
• Interact with customers, tenants, vendors, and service providers
• Help operate and support a coffee shop and small store
• Handle miscellaneous projects and issues as they arise
• Switch between priorities while keeping work organized and on track

Marketing & Customer Service

• Assist with marketing and advertising efforts
• Help with social media and promotional activities
• Develop ideas to promote the businesses
• Assist with marketing the RV park, coffee shop, and store
• Provide friendly, professional customer service

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
• QuickBooks Online experience is required
• Strong AP/AR experience
• Excellent Excel and spreadsheet skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• Experience managing accounting for multiple businesses, entities, or properties is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Dependable and self-directed
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable working directly with business owners
• Willing to jump in and help wherever needed
• Comfortable in a small-business/family-owned environment
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Marketing, social media, property management, or hospitality experience is a plus

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• QuickBooks Online and 10+ years of AP/AR/accounting experience required
