Overview Senior Oncology Specialist – responsible for delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and achieving territory sales. Responsibilities Act as primary customer contact and provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen’s products. Create and execute a comprehensive territory plan, delivering branded sales messages and executing planned programs. Schedule and follow‑up with medical educational programs, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues. Maintain product contracts and manage accounts, using internal and external relationships. Craft effective marketing strategy to drive sales and analyze sales activities and territory performance. Build and sustain passion for products throughout the sales cycle, supporting brand building and patient service. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and maintain continuous learning. Leverage disease‑state awareness, industry, regulatory and competitive changes to deliver agreed results. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related. Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related. High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related. Preferred experience in oncology, and three or more years in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device sales/marketing. Experience in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases. Local market knowledge. Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration preferred. Demonstrated adaptability with core competencies: Planning and Organizing, Leveraging Business, Industry, and Technical Knowledge, Communicating with Impact, Driving for Results, Cultivating Internal and External Relationships.
