Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Oncology/ Hematology- San Diego, CA

Territory: San Diego, Oceanside, Chula Vista, Murrieta, and Escondido. Position Summary Drive demand and adoption of Bristol Myers Squibb medicines for appropriate patients through differentiated customer experience and deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue. Build credibility with regional thought leaders and HCPs as primary point of contact; liaise cross-functionally to meet HCP needs safely, timely, and scientifically. Field-based role; spend 100% of time in the field. Key Responsibilities Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly; create demand using clinical/scientific rationale. Maintain/grow scientific expertise; develop and implement territory/account plans. Use CE^3 (once implemented) for insights/dynamic call planning; provide feedback to leadership. Conduct label-consistent in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs. Maintain expertise on emerging approved-indication data; provide real-time medical support via Medical on Call. Collaborate with other field teams; gather/share insights; comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Required Qualifications Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse. Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately. Demonstrated credibility-building with customers/office staff; customer‑centric mindset. Hematology/Oncology experience required.
