Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Hematology- Manhattan, NY

Position Summary Drive demand for BMS medicines within assigned territory for appropriate patients via differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue. Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs), community physicians/HCPs, and other stakeholders; liaise with other BMS functions to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically. Field-based: spend 100% of time in the field with external customers. Key Responsibilities Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly. Create demand through balanced clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow scientific expertise. Prepare and implement territory/account plans; use CE^3 for insights and dynamic call planning. Deliver fair & balanced scientific dialogue using approved resources; conduct in-office presentations; organize speaker programs. Maintain expertise on emerging data; provide real-time medical support via Medical on Call. Proactively collaborate with other field teams and share insights internally. Required Qualifications Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse. Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately; strong credibility with customers. Experience in Hematology/Oncology required. Account management, selling/promotional skills with proven track record meeting/exceeding goals. Cross-functional teamwork, positive mindset. Compensation & Benefits (as listed) Field (US): $144,500–$175,100; incentives/stock may be available.
