Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

COTA Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.Conduct screenings and assessments as directed by the OT.Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.Prepare materials and equipment for therapy sessions.Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling and billing.Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded careQualifications :Bachelor's degree with assistant licensure.Appropriate certifications and/or licensures with 3-5 years of related experiencePass state and federal background checksSkills:Ability to handle workload and travel to client's housesAbility to build rapport with patientsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership qualitiesMust have basic computer skills, including word processingMust have excellent and professional written and verbal forms of expression, interpersonal and problem-solving skillsW2 Employee Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, Paid Holidays, 401k, Life Insurance, Long Term Disability, Pet Insurance, and more perks
