Patient Population / Client Focus As a Mental Health Counselor with Maxi Wellness Corporation, you will primarily serve individuals grappling with substance use disorders. This diverse client population may have varying degrees of challenges, from early recovery individuals seeking ongoing support to those facing acute relapse situations. Your role is crucial in providing individual attention, therapeutic interventions, and a sense of community through structured group therapy. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is mandatory. Strong understanding of substance use disorders and recovery-oriented approaches, with proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities required. Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy within addiction treatment contexts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, displaying empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and patient confidentiality. Familiarity with EHR systems and computer applications, essential for documentation and communication. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
