Work Environment\n

Our work model offers the flexibility of remote counseling coupled with the occasional in-office collaboration within an outpatient facility. As part of the Prevail Counseling Center team, you will enjoy a supportive and engaging atmosphere that values your professional insights and contributions. You’ll work a regular schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, which allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering essential care to our elderly population.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments specifically tailored to elderly clients, identifying their unique psychological needs and treatment goals.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various evidence-based practices to address emotional struggles related to aging, such as depression and anxiety.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including doctors, social workers, and family members, to develop comprehensive, personalized care plans that enhance the quality of life for geriatric residents.

• Design and implement cognitive stimulation programs and targeted mental health interventions to promote mental acuity and resilience among elderly individuals.

• Deliver grief counseling and support for clients and their families dealing with significant life changes and end-of-life issues, ensuring compassionate and ethical care throughout the process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) designation is a must.

Compensation and Benefits\n
