About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Tennessee Start Date: September 23, 2026 Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule; rotating holiday schedule; 48-hour weekly guarantee available Highlights: - 30-bed Medical-Surgical unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio- Comprehensive unit support including Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretaries, Patient Care Techs, and Case Management- Documentation system: Meditech EMR- Diverse patient population requiring management of respiratory diseases, renal conditions, GI illnesses, telemetry monitoring, central venous catheters, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips- Standard medical-surgical equipment including IV pumps, sequential compression devices, and mobility aids- Fair floating policy integrated with regular staff rotation Requirements: - Active and unrestricted RN license- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification- Medical-Surgical nursing experience required, including familiarity with respiratory diseases, renal conditions, GI disorders, telemetry, central line management, and medication infusions- Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills- Professional appearance with navy blue scrubs required Why It's a Great Opportunity: This Medical-Surgical position offers the chance to work within a collaborative, well-supported team environment where quality patient care is the priority.
